This is my first loco i got. It is a Cheddar Models Iver. This loco was the very first pre-production Cheddar loco. No other Iver is like this. It is radio controlled and gas fired. Its 45mm gauge wich has set the gauge for the rest of my locos.
This is my MSS loco. It is made as a copy of the origional Mamod SL1loco made in the 1980s. My loco has been upgraded with a regulator, lubricator, improved safety valve, meths burner and water top up valve. This all makes the TOY loco into more of a better working model for proper garden railway operation.
Another view of my MSS loco. In this view you can see the meths burner, regulator and lubricator clearly.
This is my Ministeam Grasshopper. Its a very small engine the boiler being only 2 inches tall. It is gas fired and has a small occilating engine dreiving the wheels. After a few initial problems with the gas supply the engine has proved itself to be a good runner and very powerful. I need now to make a small sheild around the gas burner as when it gets windy it sometimes blows out. I would also like to fit radio control to it.
